About Us - Gift of Music

Hello! We are Gift of Music, an outreach organization dedicated to spreading music to those who need it most. Based in La Crescenta, California, we are all highschool students who are passionate about music, and we want to give back to our community by sharing our music with others. As of now, we are focused on playing music at nursing homes in the Los Angeles area, but we plan to expand to other venues such as shelters and hospitals.

Sophia Buda

Hi, my name is Sophia and I play violin. I have been playing for around 12 years, and I founded this organization to spread my and other's love of music. I also can play viola and guitar, and I played piano before I started violin. Besides music, I also like running and cats. I also coded this website!

Isabelle Sabina

Hi, my name is Isabelle. I have been playing the piano for 6 years. I joined Gift of Music because I wanted to gain experience playing with others and overcome performance anxiety, as well as share my passion for music with others. In addition to music, I love running track and working with little children.

Claire Buda

Hi, I'm Claire, and I'm the co-founder of this organization. I've been playing flute for 10 years and I also play piano. I'm apart of this organization because I love playing music and want to make others happy by playing. I also enjoy watching movies and drawing.

Chloe Lee

My name is Chloe and I play flute. I have been playing for 10 years and I joined Gift of Music because I love sharing music with other people. I also play piccolo and I like coding, dogs, and classical music.

Eva Greener

Hi, my name is Eva, and I play violin. I've been playing for 5 years. I joined Gift of Music so I can improve in my playing skills. I also like to dance.
